Blake is working on her debut novel where good battles evil in classic mystery form. Her work stems from an addiction to storytelling and years of crime-induced sleep deprivation where she gathered experience from inside the yellow tape. She’s educated in (B.S.) biology and (M.S.) forensic science and spent fifteen years working in forensics and law enforcement. Exchanging her 9mm for a pen, she’s currently working on a degree in creative writing and is excited to blend her two loves of creating and solving puzzles. Her other loves include traveling and the great outdoors. She currently lives in South Carolina with her husband and aging Chihuahua and dreams of one day living beachside.
